Physical Therapy is an effective treatment for conditions that affect the function of your pelvic and lower abdominal muscles. Both men and women are affected by dysfunctions of their pelvic floors.
As a patient, you will receive one-on-one treatment with a therapist in a private and comfortable setting whether you are being seen for preventative or restorative services.
After taking a comprehensive history of your symptoms, a thorough evaluation will take place. An evaluation may include looking at your posture, range of motion, pelvic alignment, flexibility, strength, pelvic stability, joint mobility, tissue restrictions, specific muscle recruitment, presence of diastasis rectus abdominals (gap in your abdominals), and possibly a pelvic floor muscle assessment.
